Job Summary

As a Retail Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be the face of our brand, responsible for providing top-notch customer service, driving sales growth, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and recommend solutions that meet their requirements. Key Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every customer interaction

• Utilize consultative skills to understand customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to meet customer requirements
• Provide expert advice on printing, signs & graphics, and shipping product lines, recommending appropriate arenaflex products and services
• Take complex customer orders using order systems, providing accurate pricing information and ensuring timely delivery
• Assemble parcels and prepare goods for shipping, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging
• Set up and operate printing, binding, and other related equipment using customer-supplied original media and documents
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly retail store environment, adhering to arenaflex standards and procedures
• Process financial transactions using a Point of Sale terminal (POS), handling cash and making change as needed
• Clean, repair, and stock all retail store printing and shipping equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Stay current on retail store merchandising materials and ensure proper display of all retail area product and signage
• Take preemptive action to prevent errors and waste, ensuring efficient operations and minimizing costs
• Complete required financial paperwork and assist with financial reporting, including daily sales, close-outs, and bank deposits

Essential Qualifications and Requirements

* High school diploma or equivalent education

• 6+ months of specialized experience in customer service, sales, or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members
• Ability to stand during entire shift, excluding meal and rest periods
• Ability to move and lift 55 pounds
• Ability to bend/twist at the waist and knees, and perform work activities requiring cooperation and instruction
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure, and maintain attention and concentration for extended periods
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and report regularly to work, maintaining established business hours

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment

• Knowledge of printing, signs & graphics, and shipping product lines
• Familiarity with Point of Sale terminals (POS) and financial transaction processing
• Experience with quality management principles and practices
• Ability to work in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and mutual support

* Competitive hourly rate: $16.00 - $18.80/Hr
