Key Responsibilities

As a RCO Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming patient phone calls and billing inquiries regarding billed services from our East Coast and West Coast facilities in an efficient, friendly, courteous, tactful, calm, and helpful manner.
  • Responding to patient general inquiries, information updates, and billing questions while resolving problems and concerns with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Updating patient demographics and insurance information as needed.
  • Upon obtaining information to facilitate claim payment, entering necessary insurance data and re-filing claims with insurance companies.
  • Reviewing patient accounts to determine why there is an outstanding balance and effectively explaining the details.
  • Processing payments over the phone from patients.
  • Negotiating payment arrangements with patients.
  • Explaining insurance company's explanation of benefits (EOB).

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience working in a high-volume call center.
  • Proficient computer skills, including the ability to type 30+ WPM.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance processes, terminology, and explanation of benefits (EOB).

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • A degree in a related field, such as business, healthcare, or communications.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or insurance environment.
  • Certification in customer service or a related field.
  • Fluency in multiple languages.
