Job Summary
As a Data Entry, Customer Support Specialist, you'll play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data pipelines and information systems. You'll work closely with our team to develop scalable solutions, ensure high-quality data, and drive business value. Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and information systems using Scala, Python, and other technologies
- Develop and implement ETL pipelines in Big Data environments (cloud, on-prem, hybrid)
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to design, execute, and deliver effective data solutions
- Ensure high-quality data and maintain detailed documentation to support data quality and data governance
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, to drive collaboration and efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Strong algorithmic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL and ability to write efficient queries to extract data and build performant datasets
- Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS (S3, EMR, EC2)
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies, such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Strong programming skills in Scala, Python, and Java
- Experience with data integration toolsets, such as Apache NiFi and Apache Beam
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake and Redshift
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
