About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Disney Direct to Consumer Data Insights and Analytics team. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in helping us understand and analyze the complex data patterns and trends that drive our business. You will work closely with our business partners to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop data-driven insights and recommendations to inform our business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Translate complex business questions into SQL, including exact cohorting, calculations, filtering criteria, and aggregations

• Communicate complex patterns and driver insights to a wide range of stakeholders, including functional groups and executive audiences, through oral presentations and written reports
• Collaborate with other Analytics teams to analyze maintenance performance of key business initiatives across happy, engagement, and marketing areas
• Build and maintain functional dashboards in Tableau and Looker to track performance over time, enable effective exploratory analysis, and provide self-serve tools for partners
• Partner closely with business partners (Product, Business Operations, Finance, Marketing, etc.) to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improved supporter maintenance

Essential Capabilities

* Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics, Marketing, or related field

• At least 3 years of Data Analysis experience
• High-level analytical skills with the ability to apply business acumen to data analysis and recommendations
• Ability to think critically, analyze and interpret first-party and third-party data
• Experience managing large datasets and interpreting data patterns using a variety of data sources and tools
• Experience with data analysis and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
• Strong scientific and technical skills to handle issues, analyze the root cause, quickly come up with potential solutions, detail the changes, and communicate authoritative impact
• Evident experience in specifying data requirements, data architecture, data rules (normalization, cleansing, and validation)

Preferred Capabilities

* Experience in the streaming media industry, as well as supporting a direct-to-consumer or membership-based product

• Experience presenting and contributing to data stories that are shared with key stakeholders

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $98,000 to $131,300 per year, depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits and perks, including comprehensive health insurance, 401(k) matching, and flexible work arrangements.
