Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Entry/Mail Clerk/Receptionist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Performing data entry in our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system
  • Preparing information for data entry and ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Providing entry-level administrative support to the data entry function, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling mail and packages
  • Performing high-volume data entry work, including typing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Maintaining data entry requirements by following data program techniques and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Reviewing and verifying data prior to entry to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Performing daily audits and data entry corrections to ensure data integrity
  • Operating data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching data entry and verification duties
  • Establishing data entry protocols for each client and ensuring timely data entry and file management
  • Training new data entry employees on our computer system and providing ongoing support and guidance
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of clerical functions and data entry tasks

Essential Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, mail clerical duties, or reception responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with EMR systems and data entry software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience with WordPerfect and other data entry software
  • Certification in medical records or data entry
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
