The Role

As a Data Entry Manager at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our data. You'll be responsible for overseeing the data entry process, managing a team of data entry clerks, and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the high standards of data quality and confidentiality that are essential to our business.

Key Responsibilities

* Transfer data from paper formats to computer files or database systems using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners

  • Enter data provided directly by customers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Create spreadsheets with a large number of figures without errors, using advanced spreadsheet tools and techniques
  • Verify data by comparing it with source documents, identifying and correcting errors
  • Update existing data, ensuring that it remains accurate and up-to-date
  • Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested, using advanced search and filtering techniques
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss
  • Sort and organize paperwork after data entry, ensuring that data is easily accessible and retrievable
  • Collaborate with the data team to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes
  • Develop and maintain data entry procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Provide training and support to new data entry clerks, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience as a data entry clerk or in a related role

  • Fast typing ability, with a minimum of 60 words per minute
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Basic knowledge of databases and data management principles
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of data quality
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working with data entry software and systems

  • Knowledge of data confidentiality principles and industry regulations
  • Certification in data entry or a related field
  • Experience working in a remote or hybrid work environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
