Job Overview
As a Data Entry Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in driving data-driven decisions across various divisions. You'll be working closely with the Bureau of Parks & Conservation, Tennessee State Parks staff, and other teams to manage GIS data, produce maps, and contribute to innovative GIS projects. Your expertise in Esri software, cartographic design, and geospatial analysis will be instrumental in helping us achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage GIS data and produce maps using Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions
- Contribute to innovative GIS projects and provide expert advice on cartographic design and geospatial analysis
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date GIS databases and maps
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in GIS and data analysis
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or related field
- 2 years of relevant experience in GIS, cartographic design, and geospatial analysis
- Proficiency in Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Strong cartographic design and geospatial analysis skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or related field
- Experience working with large datasets and GIS databases
- Knowledge of spatial analysis and data visualization techniques
- Certification in GIS or related field (e.g., GISP, ESRI Certified Associate)
