About the Role
We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior GL Bookkeeper to join our Remote Accounting and Financial Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving cycle improvement for our working cost capability by collaborating with our ongoing group to achieve business objectives. You will work cross-functionally to accomplish process enhancements and ensure precise detailing of working costs. Your expertise will be essential in preparing journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for the general ledger, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for the general ledger - Collaborate with the ongoing group to drive cycle improvement for our working cost capability - Work cross-functionally to accomplish process enhancements and ensure precise detailing of working costs - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records - Provide financial data and insights to support business decisions - Assist with external audits and reviews - Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy - Collaborate with FP&A and functional partners to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting - Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders

What We're Looking For
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior GL Bookkeeper who is passionate about delivering exceptional results and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will have: - 3+ years of experience in accounting and financial operations - Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB guidelines, and SOX/internal controls - Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite preferred - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - CPA certification or equivalent experience - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
