Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our High-Level Investigation, Content Group. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for applying advanced data analysis procedures to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions. You will work closely with our content team to analyze client behavior, identify trends, and develop insights that inform content strategy and procurement decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Apply advanced data analysis procedures (data mining, data visualization, statistical analysis, AI) to large-scale, high-dimensional data sets to drive business decisions
- Analyze client behavior (e.g., viewing preferences, viewing patterns) to identify neglected client needs and undiscovered content opportunities
- Develop predictive models to forecast content engagement and inform procurement decisions
- Streamline our content launch and episode release process
- Test marketing strategies to optimize engagement and retention
- Ideate and develop new metrics and KPIs to measure content performance for both strategic and tactical navigation
- Provide ad-hoc analysis support to partners to drive business growth
- Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data storytelling
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis and AI methods
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with R and Python programming languages
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and apply creativity to solve complex problems
- Excellent data storytelling skills, with the ability to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through verbal, written, and visual communication
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
- Certification in data science or analytics (e.g., Certified Data Scientist, Certified Analytics Professional)
