The Role

As a Remote-Live Chat Agent, you will be responsible for providing timely and empathetic support to clients via live chat, assessing their needs, and guiding them to appropriate resources and services. You will work closely with our team to enhance service delivery and outcomes, stay informed about community resources and support services, and participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.

Responsibilities

* Provide timely and empathetic support to clients via live chat, ensuring a safe and supportive online environment

  • Assess client needs and guide them to appropriate resources and services, including crisis intervention and support
  • Document interactions and maintain accurate records of client communication, adhering to organizational policies and confidentiality standards
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and outcomes, sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Stay informed about community resources and support services, including local organizations and government agencies
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
  • Adhere to organizational policies and confidentiality standards, maintaining the trust and confidence of our clients
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience is preferred
  • Previous experience in customer service or crisis intervention is a plus
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to remain calm and empathetic in high-stress situations, with a strong focus on de-escalation techniques
  • Proficient in using computer systems and live chat software, with experience in CRM systems and customer relationship management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
  • Flexible schedule, with availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations, including victims of crime and trauma
  • Strong knowledge of community resources and support services
  • Experience with CRM systems and customer relationship management
  • Certification in crisis intervention and support, such as Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) or Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
