About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven tax professional—a true “tax assassin”—who thrives in a fast-paced, independent environment. This role is ideal for someone who is accurate, efficient, and confident in preparing both individual and business tax returns. Core Focus:

• 1040, 1041
• 1065
• 1120 / 1120S
• 990

Technology Stack

• Microsoft OneDrive
• CCH Tax Software (Highly Preferred)
• Lacerte Tax (Plus)
• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate)

✅ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex individual tax returns (Form 1040)
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and completeness across all filings
• Manage multiple tax returns simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Work independently with minimal oversight
• Maintain high-level attention to detail and quality standards
• Collaborate with internal teams when needed

Required Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of tax preparation experience
• Strong hands-on experience with 1040 returns
• Proven ability to work independently and efficiently
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong time management and organizational skills

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CCH Tax Software (highly preferred)
• Experience with Lacerte Tax Software (a plus)

Work Environment

• Fully remote – work from anywhere
