Senior Tax Lead - Startup - REMOTE!
About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing, tech-enabled CPA firm built specifically for startups and SMBs. With their continued growth this is a newly-created TAX MANAGER and a ground floor opportunity to help build something special! The Role This is a newly created Tax position joining a lean, sharp team where your work actually matters. You will not be one of 200 seniors buried in a queue. You will own your work, contribute to process building, and have a direct line to leadership from day one. What You Will Work On
- Federal and state tax compliance and review for a portfolio of startup and SMB clients
- Primarily C-Corp focused with some S-Corp and partnership work mixed in
- Review and sign off on returns prepared by junior staff
- Contribute to building out tax processes, workflows, and best practices as the team scales
- Collaborate directly with bookkeeping and CFO service teams to deliver a seamless client experience
What We Are Looking For
- CPA required, no exceptions
- 2+ years of public accounting experience with a tax focus
- Strong C-Corp compliance background
- S-Corp and partnership experience a plus
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, startup environment
