Salesforce CPQ Developer Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Salesforce CPQ Developer to design, build, and support scalable CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions that enable our global sales organization. This role is hands-on and focuses on development, configuration, and optimization of Salesforce CPQ and Sales Cloud capabilities to improve quote accuracy, sales efficiency, and overall customer experience. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in Salesforce CPQ, Apex, and Lightning development, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions. You should be comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and passionate about solving complex pricing, product configuration, and quoting challenges.

Key Responsibilities

CPQ Development & Configuration Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce CPQ solutions, including product configuration rules, pricing rules, quote templates, and approval workflows Build and customize CPQ features such as Bundles, Discount Schedules, Price Rules, Product Rules, and Contracting/Renewals Develop custom logic using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows to extend CPQ functionality Solution Delivery Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions within Salesforce CPQ Partner with Sales Operations, Finance, and Business Analysts to deliver system enhancements and new capabilities Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical solutioning for CPQ and Sales Cloud use cases System Integration & Data Management Support integrations between Salesforce CPQ and external systems such as ERP platforms (e.g., SAP), billing systems, and ordering tools Ensure accurate data flow across systems, including pricing, product catalogs, and contract data Assist in troubleshooting integration issues and data inconsistencies Testing & Deployment Develop test classes and support unit, integration, and UAT testing cycles Validate configuration and code changes prior to production deployment Collaborate with DevOps teams using CI/CD pipelines and version control tools Operational Support & Optimization Troubleshoot CPQ and Salesforce issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes Continuously improve quoting processes through automation and system enhancements Maintain and update documentation for CPQ configurations and customizations Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Work closely with cross-functional teams to align system functionality with business needs Stay up-to-date with Salesforce CPQ releases and best practices Contribute ideas to improve system performance, usability, and scalability Qualifications 3–6+ years of Salesforce experience, including 2+ years working with Salesforce CPQ Hands-on experience with: Salesforce CPQ configuration (Products, Pricing, Rules, Quotes, Orders) Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) Salesforce Flows and declarative tools Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (ERP, billing, etc.) Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and platform capabilities Familiarity with Agile development methodologies Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification (must have) Preferred Skills Experience with quote-to-cash processes (pricing, contracting, renewals, billing) Familiarity with Sales Cloud and Revenue Cloud architecture Exposure to CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and version control systems Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices Experience supporting global sales teams or multi-currency environments About Bentley Systems Around the world, infrastructure professionals rely on software from Bentley Systems to help them design, build, and operate better and more resilient infrastructure for transportation, water, energy, cities, and more.
