About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PIM inRiver Team Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on expertise in the inRiver PIM platform with strong leadership and ownership capabilities. This role will be responsible for leading the PIM implementation and support team, driving solution design, ensuring data governance, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable and high-quality product information solutions. Key Responsibilities: Technical & Platform Ownership Lead the configuration, customization, and ongoing maintenance of the inRiver PIM platform. Oversee the design and implementation of data models, product structures, workflows, and governance standards within inRiver. Review and approve complex configurations, integrations, and data models to ensure best practices. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all downstream channels. Team Leadership & Delivery Lead, mentor, and guide PIM developers and analysts, ensuring high-quality delivery. Allocate work, review deliverables, and ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Act as the primary technical escalation point for PIM-related issues. Drive continuous improvement in team processes, documentation, and delivery practices. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with business, marketing, eCommerce, and IT teams to gather requirements and define scalable PIM solutions. Translate business requirements into technical designs and implementation plans. Communicate clearly with stakeholders on scope, trade-offs, risks, and timelines. Integration & Architecture Lead integrations between inRiver and other systems such as ERP, DAM, and eCommerce platforms. Oversee usage of inRiver APIs and ensure secure, scalable integration patterns. Provide architectural guidance for PIM-related initiatives. Governance, Support & Enablement Establish and enforce PIM data governance, taxonomy, and attribute management standards. Oversee user training, documentation, and best-practice adoption. Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and drive resolution. Stay current with inRiver platform updates and PIM industry trends. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5 years of experience working with inRiver PIM platform. Strong understanding of Product Information Management concepts and methodologies. Proficiency in configuring and customizing inRiver PIM platform. Experience with data modeling, taxonomies, and attribute management within inRiver. Must have experience with inRiver APIs and integrations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in inRiver PIM. Experience integrating inRiver with other systems such as ERP, DAM, and eCommerce platforms. Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript or Python.
