[Remote] Contract Recruiter / Talent Acquisition

They are seeking a part-time contract recruiter to attract and hire exceptional talent for various technical and operational roles, ensuring a strong candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for a variety of technical, operational, and business roles
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and launch effective searches
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage hard-to-find talent
- Screen candidates for skills, experience, motivation, and overall fit
- Coordinate and help manage interview processes to keep searches moving efficiently
- Present qualified candidates with clear, thoughtful recommendations
- Maintain an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and follow-up
- Track pipeline activity, candidate status, and search progress in the applicant tracking system
- Help improve recruiting workflows, job postings, and hiring process consistency
- Support offer-stage coordination and closing efforts
Skills
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting
- Experience recruiting for technical, specialized, or hard-to-fill roles
- Strong sourcing skills and the ability to proactively build candidate pipelines
- Strong screening and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of organization, responsiveness, and follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple searches in a part-time capacity
- Comfort working in a growing, evolving environment
- Availability during Pacific Time Zone business hours
- Experience recruiting for aerospace, defense, autonomy, robotics, embedded systems, or other deep-tech environments
- Experience supporting defense contractors or companies serving government or national security customers
- Familiarity with recruiting candidates who hold or are eligible for security clearances
- Experience working in startup or scale-up environments
- Experience using Greenhouse ATS
