The Mission The quickest way to lose a user is to treat their inbox like a trash can. We need a lifecycle architect who treats email as a pure retention science. You will be managing our entire deliverability pipeline, building hyper-segmented triggers based on product data, and relentlessly optimizing user lifetime value (LTV). If you get a thrill out of fixing broken funnel metrics, auditing domain health protocols, and scaling revenue-per-email metrics without causing a spike in unsubscribes, this machine is yours to run.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Architecture: Design, map, and deploy the entire automated user journey—from high-conversion welcome sequences and onboarding flows to reactive churn-prevention and win-back loops.
  • Hyper-Segmentation & Behavioral Triggers: Leverage raw user data, product behavior signals, and engagement history to build hyper-targeted list segments, ensuring every user receives the exact right message at the exact right second.
  • Deliverability Infrastructure: Own and monitor our underlying sender health, managing SPF, DKIM, DMARC protocols, IP warming strategies, and domain reputation to guarantee absolute inbox placement.
  • Campaign Orchestration: Plan, author, and deploy high-velocity ad-hoc campaigns for major feature drops, ecosystem milestones, and real-time cultural moments without a single detail slipping.
  • A/B Testing & Optimization: Maintain a relentless experimentation cadence—testing copy hooks, layout designs, send times, and interactive elements to consistently push down unsubscribe rates and maximize revenue-per-email (RPE).
  • Analytics & Attribution: Build and own the performance dashboards, translating open rates, CTRs, conversion attribution, and list hygiene metrics into cold, calculated strategic insights for the growth team.

The Requirements

  • The "Retention Engineer": A proven track record of managing high-volume email marketing, retention strategy, or lifecycle automation for a fast-moving technology, e-commerce, or consumer web platform.
  • Technical ESP Mastery: Deep, hands-on experience with advanced automation platforms and CRM tools (e.g., Customer.io, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Brevo, or equivalent enterprise-tier software).
  • Data-First Rigor: You don't build campaigns based on "gut feeling." You live in conversion metrics and data tables, using hard user behavior statistics to dictate template variations and trigger timelines.
  • Hyper-Availability: This isn't a 9-to-5 position. Digital traffic and global market shifts never sleep. You must be available 7 days a week to monitor live broadcast performance, deploy emergency hotfixes for broken automated loops, and coordinate with our fast-moving product team.
  • Operational Excellence: Self-motivated and highly organized; you possess pristine attention to detail, knowing that a single typo or broken link can impact thousands of global users instantly.

Operational Details

  • Location: Fully Remote.
  • Schedule: On-call 7 days a week (Requires high flexibility to align with real-time product shipping windows and global engagement surges).
  • Payment: All compensation is processed in digital assets (USDC/USDT).
