Why You'll Love This Job

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be part of the Frankfurt Airport Customer Services Group, supporting a team of Lead Specialists in delivering a safe and exceptional airport experience to our customers. You will be responsible for handling a range of airport-related tasks, including:

  • Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a consistent experience across all contact points
  • Performing a variety of airport-related duties and being prepared to assist with daily operations in the following areas: Registration and Security, Doors, Move, Appearance (where relevant)
  • Performing all security capabilities where traveler contact is involved, including checking travelers' records and screening travelers at registration and at the flight gate (where applicable)
  • Observing and reporting on all aspects of the activity and travelers, as well as accompanying travelers
  • Working closely with and taking direction from the Lead Specialists responsible for the flight/workspaces/shift
  • Leading important regulatory obligations, such as pre-flight and post-flight takeoff
  • Addressing American Airlines by adhering to the uniform standards and taking a customer-centric approach consistently
  • Promoting and selling American Airlines services and products to our customers
  • Participating in and completing all mandatory training by given deadlines
  • Adhering to and promoting safe working practices at all times
  • Completing any other reasonable duties consistent with the role

All You'll Need for Success

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to resolve conflicts within time constraints and without compromising
  • Ability to manage pressure and work with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to work in a shift environment (including weekends, bank, and public holidays)
  • Dependability and reliability
  • Agreement with all American Airlines policies and procedures
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English and German
  • Excellent skills in identified areas of Customer Services
  • Willingness and ability to attend training in the USA and Europe and successfully complete all applicable training
  • Preferred qualifications: Higher education and previous professional training
  • PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email
  • Sabre/Qik or other reservation system skills
