Job Summary
As a Seasonal Benefit Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing superior customer service to our clients and their plan participants. You'll work in a virtual environment, using your excellent communication skills to resolve member concerns and provide accurate information about health care and/or pension plans. This is a seasonal role, but we offer opportunities for growth and development, and our top performers may be eligible for a full-time opportunity with arenaflex.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their plan participants via phone, chat, and message center
- Assist with enrollment and updates to health care and/or pension plans
- Use analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly assess member concerns and formulate a response/resolution
- Work in a structured environment, adhering to posted work schedule and breaks/lunches, following protocols and standards of excellence
- Utilize Microsoft Office to answer questions while on the phone/instant messaging
- Work autonomously in a self-paced, self-motivated team environment
- Participate in online training and interact with Managers/Supervisors via chat
- Meet productivity and quality standards, including typing 30 words per minute
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
Essential Qualifications
* Excellent ability to communicate effectively using the English language in a customer service setting, including verbal and written communication skills in a grammatically correct way
- Ability to quickly assess member concerns and formulate a response/resolution using analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a structured environment – adhere to posted work schedule and breaks/lunches, following protocols and adhering to standards of excellence
- High level attention to detail, multi-tasking, and ability to organize work
- Experience using Microsoft Office with a strong ability to juggle multiple open computer windows to answer questions while on the phone/instant messaging
- Ability to work autonomously in a self-paced, self-motivated team environment
- Must be comfortable working in a virtual environment to include on-line training and interaction with Managers/Supervisors via chat
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to type 30 words a minute
- Experience working in a customer service-related field
- High School degree required
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate or Bachelor's degree
- Working knowledge of health and welfare and/or defined benefit pension plans
- Experience working in a call center environment
- Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
* Starting pay is $17.00/hr with the potential for an increase after one month
