Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

As an Evening Specimen Processor - Data Entry - Part-Time, you'll play a vital role in the patient care process by ensuring laboratory specimens are properly received and routed for testing. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Performing data entry for lab requests, double-checking test orders, and recognizing when corrective action is needed
• Working in a laboratory environment with biological hazards and adhering to PPE requirements
• Championing safety, compliance, and quality control
• Providing exceptional patient care without being face-to-face

Essential Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
• Typing proficiency, including 10-key
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, having the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Data entry experience in a production environment
