Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative for Non-Profit Support, you will be the first point of contact for callers seeking assistance with scholarships for students attending K-12 private schools. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a positive experience for every caller. Your passion for helping others, combined with your strong communication and problem-solving skills, will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate and helpful information to callers, ensuring a positive experience
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate when necessary
  • Maintain a high level of empathy and compassion when dealing with difficult or tense situations
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple calls simultaneously
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, first call resolution, and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications:

* At least one year of customer service or call center experience

  • English proficiency
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during difficult or tense situations
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and ability to multitask
  • Accurate typing and keyboard skills, with comfort using PC and internet navigation

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working in a non-profit or education-related field

  • Familiarity with scholarship programs or student financial aid
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
