Job Summary
As a Customer Relations Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing prompt, courteous, and effective support through email, social media, voicemail, and Slack. Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to all incoming communication in a timely manner
- Investigating, testing, and resolving customer issues
- Processing refunds and compiling chargeback disputes
- Escalating issues where necessary
- Meeting with supervisors and team members via video conferencing
- Satisfactorily meeting performance and response metrics
- Documenting customer issues and creating bug tickets, where needed
- Occasionally assisting with site testing before and after updates
Key Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer support through email, social media, voicemail, and Slack
- Investigate and resolve customer issues in a timely and effective manner

- Satisfactorily meet performance and response metrics

Essential Qualifications
* 1+ year(s) experience in a dedicated customer support role (food service does not count)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent grammar and spelling (most of our customers are teachers!)
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to participate in virtual and video meetings
- Experience with remote work preferred
- Experience in banking or handling payment transactions preferred
- High technical/web literacy
- Experience and interest in writing preferred
- Reliable, high-speed internet connection
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a tech company
- Familiarity with Slack, Groove, Jira, Trello, Google Drive, and Stripe
- Strong writing skills
- Experience in a customer-facing role
Time Frame
The anticipated start date is October. As a part-time Customer Relations Representative, you will work every other week for approximately 10 hours per week in fall-winter-spring and 6 hours per week in summer.

* $20 USD/hour
