Role Overview
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team on a temporary basis, with excellent potential for permanent employment. As a key member of our customer support team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries. You'll work closely with our customers to resolve complex medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and patience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer support by answering calls and responding to queries
- Assist customers with medical insurance questions, ensuring each interaction is handled with respect and patience
- Accurately document call content in real-time
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex customer issues
- Provide timely and effective solutions to customer complaints and concerns
- Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
Schedule
* Work Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Training: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5 PM (approximately the first 2 weeks)
- Note: Rotating holidays as needed
Compensation and Benefits
* Pay: $16.20/hr
- Benefits: Health Insurance, 401K, PTO available
Essential Qualifications
* 1+ year of experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and other customer service tools
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a call center environment
- Knowledge of medical insurance and healthcare industry terminology
- Certification in customer service or a related field
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
