As a Senior Data Science Analyst, you'll play a critical role in shaping our data strategy and contributing to the success of our business.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Science Analyst to join our Hunt and Suggestions Examination team. As a key member of this team, you'll work closely with a high-performing group of data scientists, AI engineers, and product managers to drive business growth through data-driven insights. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing, running, and analyzing the results of A/B tests of new suggestion algorithms and systems
• Developing new testing and testing analysis techniques to improve our product recommendations
• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify new opportunities and inform our product recommendation strategy
• Collaborating with our in-house development team to design and implement new tools and features
• Communicating key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization

Responsibilities:

* Run unconditional exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities

• Plan and run A/B tests of our latest suggestion algorithms
• Proactively monitor our suggestion models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve
• Develop new tools that enable us to be more efficient and productive
• Work closely and build strong relationships with our product, design, and AI partners
• Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional senior leaders across the organization

Requirements:

* Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on web-based business organizations
• In-depth experience with SQL (total capabilities, query optimization, stored procedures, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flash, etc.)
• In-depth experience with Python and Python libraries (Jupyter notebook, libraries, pandas, scikit-learn, matplotlib, etc.)
• Experience with A/B testing and statistical analysis to drive business decisions, highly preferred
• Experience with AI algorithms/methods (decision trees, random forests, deep learning, etc.) within a business setting, highly preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and cooperative demeanor
• Ability to work collaboratively and proactively with partners
• Demonstrated history of taking ownership and driving results in a fast-paced environment
• Strong business acumen, scientific skills, and technical abilities, along with critical thinking skills
