Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a 06+Months contract basis, with the possibility of extension. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our shared excel spreadsheet, ensuring timely finalization and payment of IDR awards, and maintaining the quality and compliance of our data entry processes. Key Responsibilities
* Data Entry: Enter data into our shared excel spreadsheet with high accuracy and speed, ensuring timely finalization and payment of IDR awards.
- Quality Control: Review, process, and adjust claims accordingly per IDR awards and settlement agreements, ensuring compliance with metrics and quality standards.
- Source Document Review: Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry.
- Data Verification: Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
- Log Maintenance: Maintain logs of activities and completed work, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless data entry processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
* Intermediate to Advanced Excel Experience: Proficiency in Excel, including data entry, formatting, and analysis.
- Outlook Experience: Experience with Outlook, including email management and data entry.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately enter data and detect errors.
- Data Entry Speed: Ability to enter data at a speed of at least 38 WPM.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Medical Claims/Amisys Experience: Previous experience with medical claims or Amisys is preferred.
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required.
