Data Entry Specialist – Tier II / EAM Support – Seasonal in Montgomery County, MD

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a seasonal basis. As a Data Entry Specialist - Tier II / EAM Support, you will be responsible for maintaining professional customer service and support of best practices, conducting incident logging and categorization, and uploading and validating staff information data into the EAM system. You will also be responsible for evaluating time reports, tracking trends, and providing help with troubleshooting support to end users.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintains professional customer service and support of best practices
- Conducts incident logging, categorization, and prioritization of events triggered by internal and external customers and triggers from internally developed applications
- Assists with monitoring information systems for quality assurance
- Uploads and validates HCM staff information data into the EAM system within Montgomery County divisions
- Evaluates time (labor) reports by staff from the EAM system
- Tracks trends such as terminations, certifications, total updates, and labor tracking
- Assists with facilitation and training of staff and management on information systems
- Tests processes within the EAM system
- Performs varied data entry work involving some complexity and variety
- Accomplishes a variety of work with Microsoft Office Suite
- Provides help with troubleshooting support to end users
Essential Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
- 3 + years Computer or Data Entry experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications involving Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Typing speed 40 WPM
- A valid driver's license in accordance with both State and Commission rules and regulations. Driver's licenses must be unencumbered by restrictions, revocations, suspensions, or points that could limit the employee's ability to drive Commission vehicles or perform driving duties required of their position

* Experience working in a parks and recreation department or similar environment
- Familiarity with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
