Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Entry/Intake Pharmacy Technician to join our team at arenaflex's Onco360 Specialty Pharmacy in North Scottsdale, AZ. As a Data Entry/Intake Pharmacy Technician, you'll be responsible for creating patient profiles, processing orders, and managing incoming documents. Key Responsibilities

* Creates patient profiles and processes orders in a timely manner from electronic prescription and fax queues

• Requests refill prescriptions as appropriate
• Manages incoming documents from the fax server
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient information
• Communicates effectively with patients, providers, and internal teams to resolve issues and address concerns
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications and Responsibilities

* Good interpersonal skills

• Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and be flexible
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of medical terminology, including sig codes and Roman numerals, brand and generic names of medications, and general pharmacy terminology
• Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently when inputting information
• Licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• Basic math and analytical skills
• Intermediate typing/keyboarding skills

Preferred Qualifications and Responsibilities

* 3+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy software and systems
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS)
