Job Summary
As an IT Operations Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for managing local and remote resources to deliver exceptional IT support to our global organization. You'll work closely with our team to define and implement strategies that create a perfect customer experience, leveraging your knowledge and expertise to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues. You'll also identify opportunities to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement, setting high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage local and/or remote resources to deliver exceptional IT support to our global organization
- Assist the global organization in defining and implementing strategies that create a perfect customer experience
- Develop and leverage the knowledge base of the team to expedite the resolution of recurrent issues
- Identify opportunities to proactively reduce requests through automation, documentation, and process improvement
- Set high standards for issue handling, escalation, and problem management across the organization
- Guide the team with metrics and goals that clearly measure their success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
Essential Qualifications
* 5 years of experience developing a team of technical professionals across multiple locations
- 2 years of experience leading technology teams as an IT Operations Manager
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years of professional or military experience
- Knowledge of Linux or Unix systems administration
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the travel or airline industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in using computers, including familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset
