Job Summary

As an Experienced Teleworking Remote Data Entry Specialist – Fleet Engineering Support, you will be an integral part of the A319/A320/A321 Fleet Engineering Team within the Technical Operations Division. This team is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues on transport category aircraft, and you will play a critical role in providing engineering support on various aircraft systems and improving associated reliability through project management.

Key Responsibilities

* Keep informed of day-to-day airline operations involving your field of responsibility.

  • Assess daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.
  • Investigate aircraft/component problems that may cause delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
  • Provide engineering support as required for disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components in order to restore serviceable status.
  • Respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems.
  • Develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursue final dispositions according to assessed priorities.
  • Coordinate with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions.
  • Prepare engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections, or other actions that provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in fleet engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance operations, and engineering principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in fleet engineering or a similar role.
  • Experience with project management, data analysis, and technical writing.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software applications and tools.
  • Certification in a relevant field, such as aircraft maintenance or engineering.
