Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative – Bilingual Preferred – Community Resource Navigator, you'll be responsible for performing inbound and outbound calls to members who need help finding local community resources to meet their social needs. You'll work closely with our members to understand their needs, provide personalized support, and connect them with relevant resources. We're looking for candidates who have a strong preference for finding candidates with personal experiences similar to our members, and who are fluent in a second language.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform inbound and outbound calls to members who need help finding local community resources to meet their social needs.

  • Work closely with members to understand their needs, provide personalized support, and connect them with relevant resources.
  • Utilize computer skills, including typing proficiency, multi-tasking between online applications, and multiple screens.
  • Provide a designated workspace free from noise and other distractions.
  • Maintain high speed internet with the ability to hardwire via ethernet from cable modem to PC.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve member issues and improve overall customer experience.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications

* A minimum of 12 months of customer service or service industry-related experience with proven customer service skills.

  • Excellent computer skills, including typing proficiency, multi-tasking between online applications, and multiple screens.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, folders).
  • Provide a designated workspace free from noise and other distractions.
  • High speed internet with the ability to hardwire via ethernet from cable modem to PC.
  • Bilingual preferred and must be able to pass language certification.

Preferred Qualifications

* At least 1 year in a call center setting.

  • Inbound/outbound call center experience.
  • Knowledge of Medicaid.
  • Applicants who have personal experience with community resource navigation to assist with Medicaid needs are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Active listening proficiency.
  • Ability to be receptive to feedback and to embrace continuous improvement.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to display empathy towards customers' needs and concerns.
  • Desire to contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Education

* GED/High School Diploma

Work Environment

* Full-time position with 40 hours of work per week.

  • Anticipated weekly hours may vary based on business needs.
  • Work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

* The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $25.65.

  • This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
  • The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
