This position will be a part of our strategic partnership within the Financial Planning Systems space at arenaflex. This role will require a diverse background of finance and IT experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supports and develops Financial Systems applications, as they apply to the Finance department, as well as serves as an internal advisor to those groups to identify automation opportunities and create/provide suitable solutions.
- Upholds the Hyperion planning application, consistently, for forecast and actual financials
- Approves the data from Hyperion Financial Management and from regulators
- Explores and resolves issues with data, including divisional roll-ups and intercompany transactions
- Upholds system maintenance; maintains client permissions
- Upholds clients with system issues, existing reports, forms, and models
- Assists with preparation of detailed scenarios and analytical results examinations on various complex financial issues and competitive industry analyses
- Facilitates and completes monthly headcount process regarding Hyperion
- Updates Hyperion Planning with order changes; coordinates progressive system changes with Regulators and GL organization
- Communicates with work groups to determine reporting business needs; proposes and presents effective solutions
- Creates Essbase cubes, Planning Applications, Reports, as well as estimating and planning models for Finance departments
What you'll need for success:

Essential Capabilities:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Systems or equivalent experience/training + 2 years of work experience in a Finance role, including experience with financial summaries, as well as financial modeling and analysis + Strong IT foundation, including experience with Prophet and multi-dimensional and social database structures
Preferred Capabilities:
+ Experience using Hyperion, as well as development and administration experience (including Intelligent Disclosure, Essbase, Planning) + Ability to adapt and be flexible in the use of scientific methodologies relating to financial issues + Ability to issue, analyze, and break down data + Meticulous with focus on precision and ability to prioritize tasks + Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. + Strong communication skills + Excellent collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse situations
