Salesforce Pipeline Engineer
The Salesforce Pipeline Engineer will support a large federal technology modernization effort focused on improving systems, processes, and services used across a national benefits environment. This role sits within the production operations team and focuses on keeping deployments moving smoothly, environments stable, and releases organized. You’ll work closely with developers, release managers, and operations teams to support Salesforce deployments, automate delivery pipelines, and help maintain a reliable release process across multiple environments. What You’ll Do: Manage and support Salesforce deployment pipelines across development, test, staging, and production environments Help automate builds, deployments, and release activities using modern DevSecOps practices Coordinate code promotions and deployments through established release management processes Troubleshoot deployment issues, failed builds, and environment problems Work alongside developers, testers, admins, and operations teams to support steady software delivery Maintain source control and branching strategies using Git and related tools Support configuration management and environment governance activities Monitor deployment health, release activity, and pipeline performance Assist with production support and operational sustainment activities Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release coordination efforts What You’ll Need: 3+ years of experience supporting Salesforce deployments, release management, or CI/CD environments Experience with tools such as Salesforce DX, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Copado, Gearset, or similar platforms Understanding of source control, branching strategies, and automated deployment workflows Familiarity with Agile software delivery environments Ability to troubleshoot deployment and integration issues in fast-moving environments Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and operational teams Experience supporting structured enterprise IT environments Federal government experience is a plus Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or other required government clearance How We’ll Support You: Keeping people satisfied is no small undertaking.
