This role will play a key part in helping leadership understand financial performance, identify trends and risks, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. The successful candidate will be recognized as a trusted financial partner by providing analysis related to profitability, operational performance, forecasting accuracy, investment decisions, and business improvement opportunities. Core responsibilities include supporting budgeting and forecasting processes utilizing ERP systems, Workday, Adaptive Planning, BI/dashboarding tools, and other analytical platforms and methodologies. Working within large-scale enterprise ERP environments such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or similar systems is key. Experience with Workday and Adaptive Planning are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will bring strong FP&A experience, advanced financial modelling capabilities, SQL/data querying skills, and experience building reports and dashboards in BI platforms such as Power BI or Tableau. This individual should also have experience working with multidimensional/cube-based planning systems (Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, SmartView, or similar), including custom report creation and analysis. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve productivity, automate workflows, and enhance analytical output. The FP&A Analyst should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to interrogate and synthesize large datasets, and the ability to apply financial evaluation methodologies (e.g., DCF, IRR, Cash Payback) to support business decisions. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and support Monthly Performance Reviews.
  • Provide variance analysis on revenue, expenses, and gross margin trends, identifying key drivers and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze customer, operational, and financial data to provide insights into business performance and historical trends.
  • Utilize SQL and other analytical tools to extract, validate, and analyze large datasets from financial and operational systems.
  • Apply data interrogation and system analytics to identify root causes of business issues and support operational improvement initiatives.
  • Develop pricing, compensation, and expense models to support profitability analysis and business case evaluations.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and custom reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Develop and maintain reports and models within multi-dimensional planning and reporting system such as Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, SmartView, or equivalent.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning activities in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Conduct financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and operational decision-making.
  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve efficiency, automate reporting and analysis processes, and enhance productivity.
  • Conduct market, customer, competitor, cost, and risk analysis as needed.
  • Support presentations, ad-hoc analysis, and strategic initiatives requested by leadership.
  • Develop strong business and operational knowledge across supported functions.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems experience.

Working within large-scale enterprise ERP environments such as SAP, Oracle, Workday or similar systems. Experience with Workday strongly preferred. Adaptive Planning experience is strongly preferred

  • Understanding of financial reporting processes and foundational accounting principles
  • Strong SQL/data querying skills with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with cube-based planning and reporting systems such as Adaptive Planning, Hyperion, SmartView, or equivalent, including custom report development.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, automate tasks, and increase analytical productivity.

  • Ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment.
