Role Purpose The Senior Analyst is an industry expert who delivers authoritative analysis within TM Forum’s Insight product portfolio. This role combines subject matter expertise to produce data-driven, interactive, engaging outputs that inform Members’ strategic decisions and strengthen TM Forum’s position as the leading voice in telecom transformation. The Senior Analyst has the experience, the market knowledge and the expertise to deliver incisive, original insights and analysis which both challenges the telecoms industry and offers solutions often built on TM Forum assets and collaborations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver incisive, original telecoms market insights using a range of traditional and, increasingly, new compelling, visually engaging formats using multimedia tools (e.g., infographics, video explainers, interactive tools) Develop a data-driven approach to research leveraging both assets within the Insights team and working across the different missions. Build a high profile within the telecoms industry through the delivery of these insights. Collaborate with the engagement team and, where relevant, deliver insights / presentations to TM Forum members to help enhance TM Forum’s overall value proposition. Position TM Forum’s capabilities, assets and initiatives as solutions, or part-solutions, to the most pressing telecoms industry challenges and opportunities. Conduct rigorous research and benchmarking across telecom domains to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities. Work with the Commercial Director to ensure Insight products meet market needs and deliver measurable value. Liaise with industry stakeholders and research partners to validate findings and enhance credibility. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Delivery of high-quality analysis within agreed timelines. Member engagement and adoption of research deliverables. Contribution to TM Forum’s reputation as an industry thought leader. Innovation in content formats and delivery. Qualifications & Experience Essential: Extensive (5+ years) experience in telecom industry research and analysis with a specific focus on telecoms operators’ technology function Experience in conducting face-to-face and online briefings with senior telecoms executives. Proven ability to interpret datasets and produce strategic insights. Excellent writing skills. Familiarity with TM Forum frameworks and transformation pathways. (Data) visualization skills using online tools Knowledge of enterprise IT Advanced Excel and powerpoint skills Skills & Attributes Subject matter expertise in telecoms and digital transformation. Analytical rigor and commitment to objectivity. Ability to innovate and adapt insight delivery formats across media. Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
