Job Description - Inviting applications for the role of Statutory Accountant Assistant Manager English Remote RO The Operational Controllership team provides support for our clients financial activities for our affiliates across 31 countries in Europe working closely with the local/regional business controllership teams. Responsibilities: - Coordinating the accounting tasks for one or more specific region/s and/or a one/more functional accounting process such as: Balance Sheet reconciliation Month End Close activities Reporting activities Asset Accounting (capitalization depreciation amortization) Inventory Accounting Intercompany FX&Treasury Accounting Tax calculation and submission audit report. - Responsible for reviewing and ensuring the completeness and correctness of balance sheets accounts (banks fixed assets client accounts supplier accounts tax accounts). - Preparing entries reclassifications and corrections in STAT Ledger - SAF-T files preparation - Annual WHT declaration preparation. - Quarterly statement preparation for CIT. - Preparation and submission of VAT declarations. - Mid year STAT reporting preparation of the file. - Yearly financial statement preparation - Supporting year-end statutory closing activities - Preparing statistical NBP and similar reporting - Supporting internal and external audits and tax inspections - Preparing basic financial data for Transfer Pricing documentation - Issuing AR invoices - Other financial related tasks - Ensure implementation and understanding of the financial policies and procedures in compliance with local legislation and the company rules - Ensure compliance to finance standards and practices - Be the primary point of contact for Auditors Controllers - Ensure Internal controls are in place and take a leading role in mitigating risks Qualifications - Bachelors - Accounting, Bachelors - Commerce, Bachelors - Economics, Bachelors - Finance, Masters - Finance Certifications - Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) - Professional School of Indian Banking (PSIB)Professional School of Indian Banking (PSIB), Certified Compliance Officer (CCO) - VskillsVskills, Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) - SkillabSkillab, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Perfekt SzolnokPerfekt Szolnok, Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) - The International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals (IARCP)The International Association of Risk and Compliance Professionals (IARCP) Required Skills - Banking Capital Markets, Client Relations, Close Consolidation Journal, Collaboration Tools, Financial Close, Financial Consolidations, Fixed Assets, Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Reconciliations, Record To Report (R2R), Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Language English, Romanian Language Proficiency - Proficient - C2 Additional Job Location - Job Type Regular Master Skill List - F&A - R2R Remote Type - Office Work Shift - Standard (Romania) Why join Genpact?
