Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing for employees. Key Responsibilities

  • * Process payroll for employees in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • * Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely payments.
  • * Calculate salaries, tax deductions, and benefits contributions.
  • * Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
  • * Ensure compliance with legal requirements, including tax filings and reporting.
  • * Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to gather necessary data for payroll processing.
  • * Prepare and distribute pay stubs, W-2s, and other payroll-related documentation.
  • * Monitor changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • * Perform periodic audits to validate payroll accuracy.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications
  • * Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
  • * Proven experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
  • * Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, or similar systems).
  • * Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
  • * Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • * Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • * Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Experience
  • * Minimum 1–2 years of experience in payroll processing or related fields.
  • * Familiarity with remote work tools and collaboration platforms is a plus.
  • Working Hours
  • * Flexible working hours with core availability between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM in your local time zone.
  • * Occasional adjustments may be required to meet payroll deadlines.

  • * In-depth understanding of payroll principles and practices.
  • * Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • * Adaptability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
