Distributor Sales Manager
Job Description:
- Actively coach, train, and mentor Distribution Relationship Managers and sales team members
- Foster a positive, high-energy team culture
- Provide consistent onsite leadership and field support
- Guide the team through complex processes
- Responsible for escalation management and cross-functional support
- Partner with the Distribution team to identify sales growth opportunities
- Maintain solid relationships with key Distributor and International customers
- Act as the primary liaison between distributor partners and internal departments
- Guide the team in analyzing distributor partner performance and pricing
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred (equivalent experience acceptable)
- 3–6 years of hands-on experience in distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations
- Supervisory, coaching, or team leadership experience
- Knowledge of trucking, transportation management, and freight optimization
- Familiarity with import/export requirements and company security practices (C-TPAT) preferred
- Experience with ERP/WMS systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
