Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our corporate databases and customer information systems. As a Data Entry Operator, you'll be responsible for collecting and entering data from various sources, ensuring that our databases are up-to-date and usable. Key Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Data Collection and Entry: Collect and enter data from various sources, including source documents, online forms, and spreadsheets, into our corporate databases and customer information systems.
- Data Organization and Prioritization: Organize information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry, ensuring that our databases are accurate and up-to-date.
- Research and Verification: Perform research to find additional information as needed, and verify data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.
- Data Solutions and Techniques: Utilize appropriate data solutions, techniques, and procedures to optimize data entry activities and ensure data integrity.
- Reporting and Storage: Prepare reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations to ensure data security and integrity.
- Document Scanning and Printing: Perform scanning and printing of documents as required, ensuring that our databases are accurate and up-to-date.
- Information Access and Confidentiality: Respond to queries for information, access relevant files, and ensure the adherence to corporate policies of data integrity and security, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Office Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the proper usage of office equipment and report any problems to ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- 2+ years' experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk, with a strong understanding of administrative duties and office equipment usage.
- Administrative experience: Solid experience with administrative duties, including data management, customer service, and office equipment usage.
- MS Office and data management software: Good practical experience with MS Office and data management software, including spreadsheets, online forms, and databases.
- Communication skills: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation, with strong communication skills to interact with colleagues and customers.
- Accuracy and attention to detail: Accuracy, high typing speed, and close attention to detail to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Organization and responsibility: Strong organization skills, good responsibility, and confidentiality to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our databases.
- Education: A high school diploma, with additional computer training or certification a bonus.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills would be highly desirable:
- Certification in data management: Certification in data management, such as Certified Data Analyst (CDA) or Certified Data Scientist (CDS).
- Experience with cloud-based software: Experience with cloud-based software, such as Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive.
