Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack OT Systems Engineer to join our team of experts in Web & Cloud Application Development. As a key member of our Operational Technology team, you'll be responsible for creating, planning, testing, integrating, and delivering system software and hardware solutions that meet the needs of our customers. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

As an OT Systems Engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Identify issues for resolution by engineers or application developers and communicate with the management team to provide updates
• Collect data from tested solutions to compare against benchmarks and perform field verification of installed systems
• Supervise contractors and developers for workstation/server/embedded software for control systems and follow up with project teams to manage schedules and deliverables
• Provide field support during systems integration and collaborate on project requirements
• Attend design review meetings with stakeholders and identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement new system software and hardware solutions that meet the needs of our customers
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure functional, performant, and reliable systems

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in OT Systems Engineering or a related field
• Strong technical expertise in system software and hardware development, including experience with robotics systems, C++, Python, ROS, MATLAB, Linux, and modern security practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
• A flexible schedule, including weekends, with 80-90% travel

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Experience with cloud-based platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of modern security practices and protocols, including encryption and access control
• Experience with DevOps tools and methodologies, such as Jenkins or Docker
• Strong understanding of system architecture and design principles
