Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Macomb, MI. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing friendly and professional services to customers and company employees. You will be the first point of contact for many of our customers, and your exceptional communication skills and problem-solving abilities will be essential in resolving issues and providing solutions.

Responsibilities

As an Experienced Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing friendly and professional services to customers and company employees
  • Keeping data and records up to date, including spreadsheet information
  • Answering multi-line telephone system and responding to customer inquiries
  • Dispatching service technicians using a GPS software program
  • Assisting with general office and administrative functions, including filing, faxing, and other tasks as needed
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and being a team player

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or related role
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic computer skills and experience with GPS software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a plumbing or sewer service industry

  • Knowledge of plumbing and sewer systems
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
