Job Summary
As a Virtual or Office Medical Support Chat Agent, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and healthcare providers. You will be responsible for providing professional and compassionate chat support, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries, and collaborating with healthcare providers to schedule appointments and facilitate care coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and compassionate chat support to patients and healthcare providers - Ensure timely and accurate responses to inquiries regarding medical services and appointments - Communicate with patients to collect necessary medical information - Collaborate with healthcare providers to schedule appointments and facilitate care coordination - Monitor and respond to chat queues in a timely manner - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution - Maintain accurate records of chat interactions within our system - Adhere to all regulations and HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent - Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively - Proficient with technology, including chat platforms and medical software - Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records - Compassionate and able to provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
