Job Summary

As an Experienced Customer Support Representative - Dedicated Transportation Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient execution of customer orders, achieving volume targets, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will be the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing issues related to timely pickup and delivery, check calls, activity documentation, and fostering a professional workplace attitude in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to maximize business potential

  • Ensure on-time delivery, damage-free services, and accurate billing through meticulous scheduling of pickup and delivery appointments, manipulation of customer orders into the order management system, and obtaining approval for accessorial charges for assigned customers
  • Proactively engage with internal and external customers on any applicable assignments
  • Use Transportation Management System (TMS) and other software platforms to accommodate and support functional areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Functions

* Effectively manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignments

  • Make timely decisions, build strong customer relationships, and communicate effectively through various mediums
  • Prioritize, structure, and schedule tasks to maximize effort, meet deadlines, and handle a busy work environment
  • Maintain composure under pressure, demonstrate flexibility, and exhibit self-drive to excel in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

* High School Diploma/GED

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, logistics, or supply chain
  • 1 year or more in relevant experience in customer service, supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
  • Knowledge in the logistics industry, applicable local and Federal regulations, and fundamental understanding of Supply Chain Management components

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Transportation Management System (TMS)
