Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Columbus, OH. As a Data Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for managing and processing pharmacy orders, responding to urgent emails and phone calls, and maintaining accurate records. This is a 2nd shift position, working Monday through Friday from 2:30pm to 11pm, with every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and address urgent orders and emails in a timely and efficient manner - Manage IV and house stock requests, ensuring accurate and timely processing - Replenish and audit forms, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements - Follow up and respond to emails, providing excellent customer service and support - Manage cycle fill management, ensuring accurate and timely processing of orders - Obtain high-cost approvals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements - File and process scripts, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the OH Board of Pharmacy - Remote candidates must attend orientation in person (required) - Remote candidates must have previous data entry experience (required) - Previous experience in pharmacy is desirable - Knowledge of brand name and generic medications - Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently - Must be multi-tasking and reliable - Knowledge of SIG-Codes - Quick typing skills - Computer literate, knowledge of Frameworks LTC system, PLUS
