Experienced Virtual Medical Data Entry Operator – Patient Care and Data Integrity Specialist at arenaflex

As a Virtual Medical Data Entry Operator at arenaflex, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting patient and medical data into our electronic health record system. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining the highest level of data integrity and confidentiality. You will work closely with our healthcare providers and other authorized personnel to ensure that patient records are up-to-date and accurate.
Responsibilities:
- Enter patient information, medical history, and treatment plans into our electronic health record system. - Review and verify accuracy and completeness of all data entered. - Organize and maintain electronic and paper data entry files. - Retrieve patient records as needed for healthcare providers and other authorized personnel. - Conduct audits to identify and correct any data entry errors. - Update and maintain patient records to ensure they are current and accurate. - Comply with all data confidentiality and security policies and procedures. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely data entry. - Communicate any data entry issues or concerns to the appropriate parties.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. - Proven experience in accurate and efficient data entry. - Excellent typing skills and attention to detail. - Proficiency in using electronic health record systems. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality. - Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
