Job Description
As a Customer Business Manager, you'll be accountable for overall customer performance, forecast accuracy, hitting and/or exceeding annual target revenue and margin goals. You'll engage and delight the customer, delivering customer-supplier scorecard metrics, and add value to this role by performing various functions, including:
- Responsible for the day-to-day customer relationship and is the primary contact for the customer category team
- Sells the arenaflex value proposition proactively and utilizes the BU/Platform Annual Playbook to drive distribution, innovation, seasonal plans, and align to platform goals
- Proactively sells product portfolio by identifying assortment voids and white space opportunities where core capabilities and capacity exist
- Analyze Customer data/BI/Circana and identifies actions to drive positive business performance for arenaflex and Customer
- Serve as main arenaflex point of contact with customers and broker partners, delivering communications and acting as first line of defense for customer issue resolution & managing internal resolution response
- Consult with sales and BU leadership to translate BU Playbook into account plan to drive platform growth
- Accountable for accurate demand plan and inputs to business team, address gaps to Customer Annual Strategic Plan, influence customer annual plan in conjunction with Commercial Finance
- Manage the commercialization process from start to end: product ideation, product cuttings, obtain commitment, launch project, product commercialization, product launch involving supply chain, analyze sales, maintain the necessary item productivity while achieving organizational profit goals, mitigate finished goods and packaging obsolescence during item transitions
Important Details
* This is a full-time, remote role on first shift. Approximately 20-40% travel to various arenaflex locations, customer appointments, or other job-related functions.
- The successful candidate may be eligible for annual discretionary merit compensation award, bonus, and equity pay.
You'll Fit Right In If You Have
* Minimum of 5 years of business experience in sales or related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills and effective relationship building skills
- Excellent business analytical skills – use of data to drive product and pricing strategies, and their impact to production forecasts. Solid financial acumen - Understanding of P&L and price implications to optimize customer strategies and management of trade funding.
- Fluency in Circana, Power BI, SAP, SharePoint, Blue Yonder, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong management skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability, skilled at multi-tasking and prioritization, and communication of performance to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization.
- Capable of building strong internal and external relationships to achieve desired customer outcomes.
- Ability to transform insights and analytics into customized strategic account plans for deliver growth.
