The Opportunity
As a Customer Service Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for handling inbound customer calls, assisting customers with their orders and accounts, and driving sales and promoting products effectively. You'll work remotely to provide a distraction-free work environment, offer additional products to customers on each interaction, and assist with questions while personalizing the experience for each caller. Your calls may include confirming refunds, taking payments, placing orders, and analyzing account data. You'll also have the opportunity for advancement and upward mobility across the entire arenaflex family of brands.
Key Responsibilities
* Handle a high volume of inbound customer inquiries in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Provide a distraction-free work environment from home
- Offer additional products to customers on each interaction
- Assist customers with questions while personalizing the experience for each caller
- Calls may include confirming refunds, taking payments, placing orders, and analyzing account data

- Report to an assigned Customer Service Supervisor
- Work from home with a set schedule and structured day
What You Bring
* Problem-solving and de-escalation skills to handle unique situations while sustaining a high-paced call volume
- Ability to learn and work in a virtual environment with a set schedule and structured day
- Excellent communication skills to interact with a variety of customer styles, peers, and leaders
- Ability to navigate multiple systems and screens while assisting customers
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Follow arenaflex computer system requirements
- Troubleshoot own technical problems (in partnership with IT when needed)
- Available to work weekends, holidays, and additional hours
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a high volume of calls
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Self-provided computer or laptop with a Microsoft Windows operating system, Windows 10 or newer, and no more than three years old
- Headset compatible with arenaflex specifications (arenaflex reimburses $75 for headset)
- Webcam and ability to appear on camera for meetings and trainings
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, communications, etc.)
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a call center or retail environment
- Experience working in a virtual environment
- Knowledge of arenaflex products and services
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
Compensation and Benefits
* Starting rate of $15.00/hour
- Shift differential available when applicable
