Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Data Entry Clerk to support our Contracts and Procurement Organization in Chantilly, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the procurement functions, including data entry, contract brief updates, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Populate JAMIS Subcontract template from various sources (data files, subcontract hard copy files)
- JAMIS data entry, including upload function
- Contract brief updates
- Other duties and data entry projects as assigned
- Collaborate with internal departments (finance, program management, A/R and AP) to ensure seamless communication and data quality management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Subcontracts Manager
Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* U.S. Citizenship is required due to our Federal contractual obligation
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with all levels of a company
- Must be a team player willing to ensure projects are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Must have a high degree of integrity, work well with others, protect the company's interests while assuring customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field
- Experience in procurement, contracts, or related field is highly desirable
Essential Qualifications
* 2+ years of experience in procurement, contracts, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with JAMIS or similar procurement software
- Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work in a remote performance setting
