Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers. You will be the primary point of contact for medical billing inquiries, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Respond to medical billing inquiries, resolving issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex billing issues and ensure accurate and timely resolution
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, including complaints, issues, and resolutions
- Analyze and resolve billing discrepancies and errors, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in medical billing and customer service
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in customer service and medical billing
Essential Qualifications:
* High school diploma or Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration or related field
- At least one (1) year of experience in medical billing, customer service, or a related field
- Strong background in medical billing, including knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex billing issues and discrepancies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in medical billing and customer service
- Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical billing software
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems
- Certification in medical billing or customer service, such as CPC or CCS-P
