As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will play a critical role in achieving our goals and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversees associates in the execution of strategies to deliver a tailored customer experience within assigned department(s)
- Utilizes leadership skills to empower associates to create a positive environment that drives the customer experience and arenaflex brand loyalty
- Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service, including greeting each customer, assessing their needs, and providing resolution
- Leads associates utilizing effective communications skills, trains, and coaches them to ensure they are well-equipped to provide a personalized shopping experience
- Ensures associates have product knowledge and sales skills to serve the customer in assigned area(s)
- Trains/coaches associates on merchandise presentation standards, including arranging space on sales floor, setting up promotional fixtures, and displaying promotional merchandise
- Ensures loss prevention and accountability procedures are followed and minimizes all controllable expenses
- Assures compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations, as well as ensuring the security of fixed assets, cash, and inventory
- Communicates performance expectations and maintains employee communication folders to include communication record, time and attendance record, job description, and checklist
- Provides effective feedback on adherence to established performance standards and recommends development opportunities
Essential Qualifications:
* Completion of high school or the equivalent
- Retail experience
- Demonstrated willingness and potential for additional responsibility
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, between the hours of 0945-1915
- Availability to work an average of 34 hours per week, with weekends required
Preferred Qualifications:
* Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management
