Job Summary
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Westwood, MA. As a key member of our mail order operations team, you'll be responsible for entering new and refill orders in an accurate and timely manner, resolving PBM-related billing problems and issues, and handling phone inquiries and initial prescription intake. You'll also be responsible for answering inbound calls, assisting customers with pharmacy-related services, and maintaining new and existing patient profiles.
Key Responsibilities
* Enters new and refill orders in an accurate and timely manner
- Resolves all PBM-related billing problems and issues
- Handles phone inquiries and initial prescription intake
- Answers inbound calls and assists customers with pharmacy-related services
- Maintains new and existing patient profiles and enters new prescriptions into patient profiles
- Assists patients with enrollment process for manufacturer and non-profit organization copay assistance programs
- Supports health care providers with required prior authorization and required appeals
- Manages all mail/delivery of Rx orders, including addressing problems/issues with delivery process
Essential Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED required
- Registration as a Mass Registered Pharmacy Tech required
- 1-3 years related work experience required
- Basic familiarity with computers and ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications
Preferred Qualifications
* (CPht) Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Call center, pharmacy data entry, and PBM billing experience
- Bilingual verbal and written communication

Physical Nature of the Job
Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently. Job is physical in nature and employee needs to stand and/or move around through the majority of their shift.
