Position Details
As a Full Stack Customer Service Representative – Medical Receptionist, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders. Your duties will include:
- Handling telephones, patient appointment scheduling, patient check-in, insurance verification, authorization, pre-certifications, referrals, and posting charges
- Managing the business services for workers compensation, commercial carriers, employee health, and corporate accounts
- Maintaining accurate and well-coded billing and medical records
- Collaborating with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless patient experiences
- Providing training and support to new team members to ensure a smooth onboarding process
Requirements
* High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Less than 1 Year Clerical/Administrative Experience Required
- Insurance and Customer Service Experience Preferred
- 1-2 years prior experience required for arenaflex Solutions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required at some locations within 90 days of hire
Skills and Competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in computer software applications, including electronic medical records and billing systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve patient and provider issues
